It explains how we handle information relating to visitors, service seekers, account holders, professionals, and people associated with unclaimed business profiles created from public sources. • Professional profile information, including business name, expertise, services, location, working hours, prices, descriptions, photographs, documents, and social media links.

• Technical and security information, including IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, session records, error logs, and abuse signals.
• Support and transaction information, including requests, complaints, profile claiming and verification records, correspondence, subscription, and billing information. Personera does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
• Public information, including commercial profile and contact details made publicly available in business directories, professional websites, and business social-media accounts.

3. How we collect information

We may collect information directly from you; automatically through your use of the platform; from accounts you connect or direct us to; through support and verification processes; and from publicly available commercial sources.

Non-essential analytics and marketing technologies run only in accordance with your cookie choices. You may change those choices through the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

4. Why we use information

• To create, publish, and manage accounts and professional profiles.
• To provide search, comparison, favorites, direct contact, profile claiming, and verification features.
• To improve catalog quality, result relevance, service safety, and user experience.

• To handle support requests, complaints, legal applications, and contractual obligations.
• Subject to your consent, to analyze usage and measure advertising campaign performance.

5. Sharing information

Personera does not sell personal data. Information may be shared only as necessary with suppliers that provide hosting, database, file storage, authentication, payment, security, analytics, and communication services, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.

Business names, services, locations, contact channels, images, and similar details you choose to publish on a profile may be publicly available. Information you share when contacting a service provider directly may also be subject to that provider’s own data practices.

Information may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or valid official request, protect rights, prevent a security threat, or complete a corporate transaction such as a merger or transfer.

6. International transfers

Some technical service providers may operate infrastructure outside Turkey. Where a transfer is required, we rely on an applicable mechanism under KVKK Article 9 and related legislation, such as an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards, or a specific derogation, and limit the transfer to data necessary for the service.

Personera services are not directed to people under 18. If you believe a child’s personal data has been processed unlawfully, contact us so that we can review it and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, suppliers, or applicable law. Material changes will be announced through an appropriate platform notice and the update date at the top of this page will be revised.
